Through NAMA, Horizons is proudly taking part in Fit Pick, a program committed to supporting a healthy lifestyle by providing healthy snack items in vending machines.  Fit Pick™ is part of Balanced For Life™, a program created by the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) for the purpose of educating Americans about the role of healthy snacks and the importance of a balanced diet and physical activity.

• Fit Pick™ labels identify vended products that are low in fat, saturated fat and sugar.
  
• Fit Pick™ uses standardized sets of nutrition guidelines based on the American Heart Association recommendations for a healthy diet.

• Fit Pick™ products are lower in fat and sugar. The criteria for adults is 35-10-35 which means no more than:

35% of total calories from fat
10% of calories from saturated fat
35% of total product weight from sugar

• Fit Pick items include baked chips, fruit bars, granola, baked snacks, nuts, jerky, and many more delicious snack items.
